Environmental Department
ESEA’s intentions are to provide services in emerging areas concerned with environmental conservation. Our intentions are to promote use and production of ecological energies and introduce clean development mechanisms to the region.
Our strengths include:
Networking
With a combined six years of working in the Tanzanian private and development sectors, we take pride in our connections to local partners and international agencies with a local presence. These include bi-lateral and multi-lateral Development Agencies, local and international NGOs, Municipal and City Councils, and Water Supply and Sanitation Utilities.
Project Management
Our background in donor funded projects (in particular rural and urban water supply and sanitation) in the country lends us some experience in this area. While we are happy to work with partners on bigger projects, we are confident in our ability to manage small ones independently, from inception right through to evaluation.
Renewable Energies
Fully aware of the global energy crisis, ESEA Ltd. realizes the need to explore new technologies, bearing in mind their appropriateness and relevance to local conditions. In particular, we aim to broaden Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) in Tanzania and neighboring countries. Areas to consider here include:
- Production of energy from municipal solid and liquid waste
- Developing ecological charcoal
- Photovoltaic electrification
- Low-energy solutions for lighting, cooking and powering of motors/engines
- Carbon emission reductions and trading
